The best burritos! Ask them to add Cholula to it for you. Pricey but worth it when you are wanting a burrito. Coffee and other drinks are good too.

This place is awesome!! The food is great and staff are super. The location, right by the river, off the bike trail is a plus.

Solid mocha using Illy espresso and they have delicious breakfast burritos, both veggie and meat.

Lovely place. They have a good vegetarian/vegan option also. We tried the coffee and bagel with cream cheese. The bagel was really fresh and the cream cheese too. It is a little expensive though. You can also get some coffee and breakfast and cross the road to sit by the dam for a relaxing view with a wonderful breakfast.

Good food and good service but overpriced

Decent breakfast, and pretty location (right on the river). Burritos were straightforward and tasty. Latte was okay. Small selection of bakery items. They have outdoor seating for when the weather's nice, and a small amount of seating indoors.

Quaint place near Fanny bridge, Truckee river. Coffee and a croissant sandwich yummy. A bit pricey but, heh, it's in town Tahoe City. Not enough sitting and hard to park. If you blink, you'll miss it. Thank goodness for GPS, lol,lol. Crowded and friendly.

In Tahoe from San Diego for a wedding. My GF is making the cake for today and we were both up early and needed some breakfast. I am glad that this was the only place open because now I found a gem for any time I am back. The staff were all amazingly kind and made me feel right at home. The breakfast burrito was delicious with tons of peppered bacon and sausage.

The breakfast burrito here is out of this world. I recommend getting it with a hash brown as well.

Great little spot to grab a fantastic Breakfast Burrito (add bacon!) A favorite of locals and those passing through to hit the slopes. Espresso drinks are fast and delicious, and the see ice is quick although they can get busy on weekends.

Oh my Lord! So so so so good! Ordered their veggie breakfast burrito and added bacon at the recommendation of their super kind staff. I was blown away! The mocha was amazing too! Do yourself a favor and stop here if you are in the area.

I love this place! They make a perfect Vanilla Chai and amazing burritos and bagels. I understand their homemade granola in honey milk is to die for. Next time. Today it was the Dam-BurlyRito (and a Hot Vanilla Chai). Wife had the Vegan-Rito. I drooled all over mine. The wrap is toasted, which allows it to contain the liquids from everything that they stuff into that thing. Last time it was the Breakfast Burrito (and a Hot Vanilla Chai). Wife had the Classic Turkey. Oh sooooo good. Another time in a rush, already had lunch so stopped for the Blended Vanilla Chai. Almost didn't leave the parking lot. Give them a try!

Family cafe, very warm feelings after visiting this place. Good variety of bagels, croissants, sandwiches and tacos i guess (not sure). Great for a breakfast or lunch or just 'grab-n-go'. Coffee also is good (cappuccino, latte etc)

All the cute little cottage feels! Burritos are massive with great tastes, the white mocha coffee paired with the coffee cake and pumpkin cookie was yummy too!On a chilly day you're trying to get dibs on the tables inside or you buck up in the shade and devour your brekkie like we did.Service was fast and friendly!We'll definitely visit here on our next vacay!

Great simple food. Friendly staff. It's right on the road so a bit noisy but it's also right on the Truckee River so convenient for the rafting. Would recommend.

The coffee I wanted was out, and I brought it to the attention of staff. They told me it was too late in the day to make a new pot and refused to refresh it. Are you kidding? A pot of coffee was too much trouble and expense?

The Dam Café is situated right near the creek in Tahoe City, on the corner of an insanely busy intersection. It’s a cute cafe, with a small but adequate selection of expensive (but all the food around here is) sandwiches and smoothies. I had the Neptune Tuna Sandwich- The tuna is made with the interesting twist of grated carrot. I enjoyed the sandwich and recommend the Dam cafe if you’re looking for a casual lunch at small hightop or a table outside.

Great place for a simple bite to eat with an eclectic atmosphere and friendly service. I love their espresso drinks and breakfast options. Their BLTA sandwich is fantastic for lunch and always has a good amount of bacon.

THE place to go to for brekky on the go. Line can be long in the morning, so plan in advance especially if you're on a time crunch to get to the mountain

The pumpkin smoothie is truly decadent and the coffees are hearty and bold enough to stand up to adding cream and sugar without diluting. The only downside is they close at 1pm so you gotta get in there early or miss out. The dam across the street provides a relaxing place to sip your coffee and watch the ducks swimming by waterfall.
